Integrity.
The rules that keep the badge from being bought.
Independence.
Flat fee, pass or fail
Agreed before the audit. No success fees.
No paid placement
No rankings, ads or sponsored listings. Nobody pays to be shown or hidden.
No consulting
We never sell help to the businesses we certify.
Separate decisions
Auditor, decision reviewer and appeals reviewer are three different people.
No conflicts
No financial ties, no gifts, two-year cooling-off. Declared before every audit.
No names
We don't publish staff or auditor names, to keep audits free of pressure. Identities go to regulators and courts where required.
A free first step, never sold
Disclosure Checked costs nothing and can’t be bought, sped up or made more favourable. The same three tests apply to every website.
Disclosure Checked is not an audit
It confirms only what a website says about itself. It is shown differently from Agency Verified on purpose.
What certification doesn't mean.
- A guarantee of earnings or results
- A promise about conduct after the audit
- Legal advice or approval of a contract
- An endorsement by any platform or regulator
- A Disclosure Checked mark as proof of fair treatment: it confirms only what a website says
